Hello there!  Today is my first day with my students.  As of yesterday, I have 21 on my roster.  It is a good number and I know I will get more throughout the year.  I had one day of training and one full of meetings.  I am ready.  We’ll see how it goes.

I didn’t buy or use many new products this year.  I am pretty consistent with what I use.  I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing.

These are the two new things I used this year.

🏃🏾‍♀️ Garmin Forerunner 265.  I had the opportunity to test this watch prior to it being available to the public.  I wore it daily for a few minutes and provided my input.  In exchange, I received this as a gift from Garmin.  I love the color.  There are many great features but one of my favorites is that it has the option to track my walks.  I can also set it up to listen to music instead of using my phone.

🏃🏾‍♀️ Brooks Ghost Lite No Show Socks.  I bought these on sale and use them every day (not just for running).  They’re lightweight, soft, and just right cushioned (I don’t like my socks too cushioned).

Next week is a FREE topic.  Feel free to write about any running-related topic.  We hope you’ll link up with us!

  1. That looks like a nice Garmin. I have one that is a similar color, but mine doesn’t have walking as an option so all of my walks show up as runs. 🙁

I hope you have a great school year! Our public schools in our county start tomorrow.

  2. Nice Garmin! I have the 255, which I’ve grown to really love. I’m not very tech savvy, so it took sone time to figure out some of the bells & whistles…and there are so many features I’m still not utilizing, LOL

Thank you for your comment!
